Rollerprinting is a new technique that allows you to print an image directly into metal from a photocopy. No acid, no etching, just polymer clay, grit, and a rolling mill. You can go from image to metal in twenty minutes. We will make our own custom sandpapers, print the images into silver and opper, and also print an image onto a harder metal, such as brass or nickel silver, to create a plate that prints copper or silver. This technique is an adaptation of Celie Fago's polymer clay technique, changed to work with sheet metal. It is easy, flexible, and very useful. $10 material fee.
